I’m going to be adding a whole bunch of new items that can be researched in Starpires over the next week or two and I’m looking for suggestions from the players.

Right now all of the technology that can be researched provide permanent upgrades, but I also plan on in a new class of research items which provide temporary upgrades.  For example that will increase your ability to repel invasions for up to 24 hours.  These items would become available at different research credit levels, so it adds in a whole new level of strategy about timing when to spend your research credits.

So if you have any suggestions of both effects and names for the item, leave them here in the comments.  If I use your suggestion you’ll get a in game bonus.
